MARINE ELECTRIC PROPULSION SYSTEM: EPS

The innovative concept of the marine EPS (Electric Propulsion System) marine gear box REVERMATIC 11-700 RBD coupled to the electric motor allows you to maximize the maneuverability of the boat and to enhance the performance of the electric motor because, thanks to the reduction ratio of the marine gear , it is possible to size the propeller of the boat to the maximum power delivered by the electric motor, full exploiting the the motor features at 3000 rpm / min.The reverse is performed by the marine gear REVERMATIC 11-700 RBD, preserving the electrical components from transient current peaks.In addition, the Marine Electric Propulsion System allows to be used as an extra drive system on engines of large power, connecting the output of the EPS system to the PTO, commonly called PTI of the installed marine transmission: also in this case the features and the performances previously mentioned are preserved.The addition of the DROP BOX DP280 mounted on the EPS system’s output before PTI, provides additional gear ratios and optimizes the electric motor.

TPO-TPH: CLUTCH & POWER TAKE-OFF

TPO air clutches are powerful and reliable components, the technical development of which has been achieved with years of experience in transmissions.Their performance range can fulfill the most different applications, with transmittable torques up to 1170 daNm, remaining constant without requiring any further regulation.While having the great advantage of being modulated with air pressure variation, their compressed air feeding system can be remote controlled and automatically self compensate for wear.The main technical features of TPO air clutches are:All the operating discs are made of high-quality cast iron, with large surfaces from where heat generated with friction is easily dissipated without creating dangerous tensile stresses.The friction discs are made of a composite compound without asbestos and are provided with external gear teeth to engage into the driving ring’s internal gears.The external dimensions are very small and for this reason the assembly phase is facilitated.The wide dimensions of the bores allow shafts with large diameters to be mounted.In normal and medium operating conditions, clutches with 2 or 3 discs can be used, transmitting a torque twice or three times more than the corresponding one with a single disc, and leaving external dimensions unchanged.
